MSET Program > LT 785 Research Methods in Educational Technology
Summary
The first three parts of the course are centered on gaining background knowledge in education research and its application in educational technology. We covered the steps and skills of being a researcher. Those steps include: identifying a research problem, reviewing the literature, specifying a purpose and research questions or hypothesis, collecting quantitative/qualitative data, analyzing and interpreting quantitative/quantitative data, and reporting and evaluating research. The fourth part of the course is where you apply what you have learned to your own “bite-sized” action research project.
