MSET Program > CET 756 Introduction to Instructional Programming
Summary
Throughout my time in CET 756, the class was designed to introduce learners to various programming languages that could be integrated into any K12 classroom setting no matter the content area. We mainly focused on Scratch, Python, and Javascript through the platforms of Code.Org, CodeHS, GoogleCS, and Microsoft MakeCode. We also read the book Read Write Code by Jeremy Keeshin. Each week we would answer questions through a blogger page where we would have to summarize what we learned in the given chapters. Overall, I thought it was an excellent book that did a great job tying together everything we covered in this class.
